Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the privilege of quietly documenting the life of NBDC: the movement, the energy, the emotion, the relationships, the little in-between moments, and the individual journeys of the dancers who make this community what it is.

These photographs are my way of remembering what I see here: that every dancer brings something entirely their own, and that those differences are what make this space so special.

Below you’ll find galleries from the past couple of years. I hope you find a few images of your dancer, yourself, or a moment that brings you back to a particular season of your dance journey.

Going forward, I’ll continue photographing throughout each dance year and will curate those moments into an annual gallery — a collection of photographs to look back on, keep, and share with the people you love.

These galleries are offered with a suggested contribution of $75, or whatever feels accessible to you. Your contribution helps support the time, equipment, editing, and creative work that goes into continuing to document NBDC.
